It is said “If your mind can CONCEIVE it and your heart can BELIEVE it, you can ACHIEVE it”.
The birth of Hope Academy emanated from an overwhelming conviction that God was directing the founding members to fill – a need for affordable quality education.
The restructuring of another institution, where a number of Hope pioneers served, provided the opportunity for the conception of Hope Academy. With the closing of one door on May 22, 2009, our Heavenly Father opened another. It was in the spirit of Hope that the small group of visionary enterprising individuals met to consider the prospect, agreed to move forward and met regularly to forge a workable document which led to the planning and opening of “Hope Academy”.
Our main goal during the genesis was and still remains, to structure and operate a school that is responsive to the needs of our students and their families as well as to effect meaningful and measurable positive growth in their learning process.
Hope opened its doors on Monday September 7, 2009 with a staff of twelve (12) devoted members and sixty-one (61) keen young minds armed for the battle of learning. The first student to grace these doors on that day was Ms. Cierra Maycock at 7:20 AM, which officially made all the hopeful planning a reality.
It has been, it is and will always be our dream that “Hope Academy” will be known as a school that mold creative minds, and initiates positive differences that will help to mold the citizens of tomorrow.
